1938-D 50C Boone MS67 PCGS CAC

From a paltry mintage of just 2,100 pieces, most 1938-D 50C Boone Commem are seen in MS65 or perhaps MS66. However, MS67 and higher becomes increasingly tough. Daniel Boone was a frontiersman and thus this coin commemorates the journey many undertook. The current example is unlike other CAC MS67 which trade between $930-$1,020 as seen; however, this present example depicts some attractive peripheral toning and will delight those who like color without spending 5 or 6 times for a fully toned specimen.
