Standing Liberty Quarter
The 1928 San Francisco Standing Liberty Quarter is a magnificent example of early 20th-century U.S. coinage, with a modest mintage of 2,644,000 and an estimated survival of only 13,000 coins, a low number for the series. This CAC-approved specimen stands out for its exceptional quality and eye appeal, with only 10 finer examples known to CAC. This coin's frosty luster, remarkably flawless fields, and sharp details make it a desirable gem for collectors. Its obverse features a silver base with beautiful tones of golden-yellow, olive-green, and reddish-orange. Liberty's figure and accessories are expertly struck, surrounded by smooth, lustrous fields. In fact the coin is almost a Full Head and exceptionally PQ for the grade. Last comp was for $960 04/25 HA which if you compare this coin has more details and is better struck.
