1917 G$1 MCKINLEY MS66 PCGS CAC

Popular Gold Commemorative, designed to commemorate the Ohio McKinley Birthplace Memorial, McKinley gold dollar issues were struck in 1916 and 1917 with the latter being far scarcer. Strong bid thanks to CAC with the last auction comp 07/2022 for $2,124 SC and CAC Value $2,120. We see no marks or hits for this example, in fact this is as similar as one could have hoped an example to appear from 1917 with an added bonus of having some subtle salmon pink hues adorning the center devices.
