Unlike its counterparts 1894-o $10 is interesting in that despite having a mintage nearly 10 times higher than 1892-o $10 or 1893-o $10, their number of survivors are nearly the same. From a mintage of 107,500, only 1,425 exists today with roughly 250 mint state examples. Thus 1894-o $10 is rarer than 1892-o and 1893-o $10. Only one comp exists for an 1894-o $10 ms62 PCGS CAC which as the ex Fairmont example and was extremely abraded. This example, in contrast, looks 1.5-grade finer all else equals. Nonetheless a rare and overlooked date that still sells for the same price for 1892-o $10, 1893-o $10.
