1895-S $10 AU58 PCGS CAC

Sun Yellow with a hint of Honey gold begin to describe the beautiful coin's patina. A visually superior example and one of the nicest 58 gold we have seen. Highly lustrous as can be seen through the devices. 1895-S $10 rarity is unknown beyond Gold Specialists. Firstly this issue has a mintage of just 49,000, compared to 1901-S $10 at 2,812,750 pieces. There are only 487 1895-S $10 in all grades. That again, is extremely low for a San Francisco Eagle, as we see there are 113,750 1901-S $10, yet the prices are somewhat similar. A hugely underrated issue. At au58 there are only 2 CAC approved with only 2 certified( MS60 that sold for $3,360 and MS61 for $5,040) This purchase represents a lot of value for the price point.
