The reverse is the lighter of the two sides, but both are equally well preserved with full vibrancy to the finish. This pre-Civil War date was struck in limited numbers in Proof as a mere 1,000 are noted for the year. This is one of the finer examples today and offers both quality and eye appeal for the date or type numismatist.”
