A rare coin above MS64, 1913 $10 Indian Eagles have had a surge in interest not just because of new pcgs collections being formed but also because of high liquidity for cac coins in gem grades. CAC gem $10 are incredibly tough to find and this coin exemplifies the definition. In 64 cac, 1913 will sell for around $3,000-$4,000 where as non cac for $1,500. In 65 CAC these sell for between $8,000-$9,000 where as non cac for $3,000-$4,000. Finer than 65 cac the value surges even more. 1913 $10 like many other Indian and St are in a two-tiered market. In 65+ PCGS CAC, as is the offered coin, the last comp sold for $16,800 01/2020 where as prior to that for $14,100 in 2017 and 2015. The offered coin is simply superb. In fact we were absolutely surprised that this did not grade MS66 and with almost certainty believe one day this very well will. The surfaces are immaculate with no marks or hits worth mentioning. The luster booms with intense cartwheel luster uncommon to Indian $10. The reverse looks like a ms67 and the obverse a MS66. Finer than this coin to obtain a cac example would be a 2017 MS66+ PCGS CAC sale for $70,500 and would certainly be worth much more today. Do not miss this opportunity for one of the nicest $10 65+ PCGS CAC as well as a key date to the series.
