1898 $1 MS66 PL PCGS CAC

Deeply mirrored with attractive mark-free surface. Well mirrored with needle-like sharp strike. We believe this coin to be slightly under-graded for the grade, certainly PQ. No recent sales for the past 5 years and before that 9 years ago. A MS66+ PCGS CAC with a big copper spot right in the center sold for $2,040 and $2,400 in 2019. Very rare in CAC 66PL or finer. These have incredibly high demand in today's market. Only 1 CAC finer, and good luck trying to obtain that.
