The Coronet Head Large Cent were struck between 1816 and 1857. Among the series this is one of the most popular overdates and is extremely valuables in all grades. With the finest example a MS65+ PCGS CAC selling last in 2017 for over $370,000. With as few as 600 specimens existing in all grades this example displays clean and smooth surfaces with no serious marks to note. The chocolate brown surfaces show a good strike. No CAC example has sold in nearly a decade, but a non-CAC F12 last sold for $1,200 01/23 ST and a F15 non-CAC for $1,560 07/23 HA. CAC Price Guide $1,800.
