As per PCGS Coinfacts, "In terms of rarity, the "overdate" has the lowest population of any of the coins in the Barber series." With 500 known in all grades, for a Barber Dime this should be considered a key date for the series, but is not well known outside to specialists and Barber quarters; as a result, this is likely the only under-valued issue to the series. Beyond the rarity, the coin is superior with peripheral toning surrounding the device and lettering. A lovely example with high eye appeal. CAC Pop 1, PCGS Pop 2 with no comps or apr. 2 Non toned CAC 58 sale are seen in 2018 and 2011 at $1,980 and $2,185 respectively. Interestingly this present example is also one of the lowest graded examples.
