1872 3CS PR60 NGC

From a tiny mintage of 950, approximately 650 examples are known today with the majority in PR63-64 grade. 1872 3CS as a date is rare as both in MS and PR strike both coins have low mintage and both are incredibly rare. The current example has a soft amber patina when tilted which adds to its appeal. At MS60, 1872 3CS there has been 1 NGC comp which sold last year at $504 10/22 HA, whilst PR58 have sold between $600-$900 and PR55 at also at $504. With a wholesale Greysheet bid at $500, we firmly believe these represent good value.
