One of four San Francisco made Three Dollar gold coins. 1856-S $3 is a popular collector favorite coin not only because of it being struck in the 1850's but also because of the beautiful S mint mark. A beautiful design that matches the traits of this coin. Even wear is seen through out the obverse and reverse.
