This overlooked New Orleans quarter eagle is among the scarer pieces from this mint. It is seldom seen finer than au53 and au55. The offered example has deep russet patina and is very high end for the grade. With a pcgs price guide of $2,150 there have been several cac comps that places this value nicely. An xf45 pcgs cac sold last 08/19 for $1,800 two grades below, whilst an AU50+ PCGS CAC also just sold 08/19 for $1,920.
