1851-D $2.5 VF35 PCGS

One of the rarest Dahlonega Liberty Quarter Eagles, yet thoroughly undervalued with only 120 known in all grades the majority of which are in low grade. 1851-D $2.5 is much rarer than 1849-D $2.5 and 1850-D $2.5 but is clumped by novice as of equal rarity. This vf35 example has no comp, is attractive with soft yellow surfaces, original, mark free and has substantial meat for a VF coin. Overall a great value buy for a historically rare date and coin.
