1940-S 50C MS65 PCGS GOLD CAC

As known by Walking Half collectors "...The 1940-S has the distinction of being the worst struck of all the Walking Liberty Half Dollars." Furthermore,1940-S is actually the rarest Walker of the 1940s even more so than the popular and highly collected 1941-S, as such we believe this date undervalued. We know that PCGS likely mistook the poor strike thus limiting its grade. A true conditional rarity as these climb high in value at MS67 selling for almost $30,000. Encased in soft tan gold hues there are very few marks. Overall a highly interesting date with a coveted GOLD CAC.
