Pop 1/0 Finest. The 1935-S Mercury dime offered here represents a Superb Gem example of the first San Francisco Mint issue of the series since 1931. The coin exhibits intense underlying luster that remains evident beneath a richly complex and naturally aged color palette. The coin exhibits warm antique gold and honey-amber toning that deepens to bronze and olive toward the peripheries, with subtle rose, salmon-pink, and light copper hues appearing across the devices and fields. There are no recorded CAC sales for this issue, nor are there any documented sales in higher grades, and the present coin stands firmly within the Condition Census for the finest known 1935-S dimes. Interestingly at MS68 FB CAC there only exists 1 coin which is worth over $100,000. Considering there is only one at CAC and the color with which this coin presents we see this representing excellent value in comparison to the FB.
