I’m a few days late, but in honor of Operation Valkyrie (July 20 The contingency plan for Germany and plot to assassinate Hitler), presenting one of only 3 known pieces from an unknown mintage ( mintage was mixed with business strike) This is the finest of the three and graded 1931-F 3 mark PR65 DCAM. The only one to have been graded dcam and also awarded the highest technical grade. In 2015 a pr64 cam randomly sold in an eBay auction for $1,225. Prior to that the other proof example which also now graded pr64 cam sold raw in 2007 for $2,500 at auction. This example is contrasted with deep mirror fields. Est value - $2,500.
