The 1928 Indian Head Quarter Eagle is slightly rarer date compared to its 1926 and 1927 counterparts, and it becomes exceptionally elusive in Gem condition or finer. This MS65 has none finer than the base MS65 with no CAC MS66. Boasting a vibrant straw-gold coloration with rich orange-gold highlights, this coin exudes stunning eye appeal. The obverse displays a flawless texture with light granularity, while the sharp strike renders every detail with precision. There have been no CAC record for 5 years, showcasing how tough this date actually is in GEM CAC. Last PCGS CAC sale in 2020 for a strong $4,560 and prior all the way back in 2015.
