1916 5C MS65 PCGS

Toned Buffalo Nickels in recent years have increased tremendously in popularity and value. Thanks to a new generation of collectors, demand for attractively and rainbow toned 5c such as these now sell out almost immediately. The current example features a concoction of techno colors. Without any color this date at MS65 would typically sell for approximately $250, as opposed to other MS65 Buffalo that sell for about $25, as 1916 5C in gem is a rare date. Looking at our toned Buffalo archives, we see several monster toning Buffalo; however, this example is sure near the most toned we have seen or handled.
