1915 5C MS67 PCGS CAC

Philadelphia Mint 1915 Buffalo Nickel in Gem and finer condition are incredibly rare. In equal rarity to 1914, which in MS67 trade for approximately double, 1915 5C is most certainly one of the top P-Mint rarities in MS67. Seen well struck with attractive satin-like luster just like this example, the unique feature of this coin lies in its salmon-pink to red-ruby toning whilst still featuring un-tainted original surface. Last CAC sale shows $3,000 11/21 HA for an un-toned example, while attractively toned CAC examples sell for more.
