1914-S $10 MS63 PCGS CAC
1914-S $10 MS63 PCGS CAC
Indian Eagle
The 1914-S $10 Indian is one of the most underrated issues in the series. Struck in a mintage of 208,000 with only 3000 estimated today, it is scarcer in high grades than the lower-mintage Philadelphia issue due to its greater commercial use. Known for its frosty, sharp strike, the 1914-S typically displays rich greenish-gold color highlighted with rose or orange, with top-grade examples being particularly attractive. With only 9 CAC-graded coins at this level and just 13 finer, this pleasingly original example boasts exceptional surfaces and superior eye appeal for the grade. A rare and valuable addition to any $10 Indian set. Last auction record was for a $7,200 01/24 HA, which we believe this to be more choice.
