1909 1C INDIAN PR65 BN PCGS EEPS

Mintage 2175, Condition Census 1909 Indian Head Cent Proof Penny. With deep ocean blue interlaced with sprinkles of bright royal pink-purple, this small cent is the last year of the Indian Head series. Beyond its gleeful toning, the example also has serious claims to cameo designation. The color is thick and mirrors deep, but PCGS does not designate Brown with Cameo, though NGC does. This example approved with Eagle Eye Photo Seal shows 2 that have sold at auction. The last one being nearly 10 years ago on 12/2014 HA for $1,011, an unremarkable example, whilst before that in 2010 a CAC example for about $1,380 13 years ago. With today's demand for toning, eye appeal and quality, we are sure this will serve well into a nice collection.
