1908 10C PR66 PCGS CAC

Only 545 proof Barber Dimes pieces were minted in 1908. What many are not aware is that 1908 10C has one of the lowest mintage for the entire proof series, bested by only 3 dates - (1911 10c, 1914 10c, 1915 10c) and is much rarer than those minted during the late 1800s by about a factor of 2. A flawless example that is sharply struck with a very clean and smooth untouched surface. We have great confidence in this piece and urge you to zoom in to look for any hits or marks. Nothing will be found even under a 10X loope. Superb colors are also in display resembling space-like phenomena often seen in astronomy books. The obverse exhibit olive and forest colors around the rims of the coin along with copper brown, sapphire and blue, neon yellow, and marigold hues. The reverse on the other hand are decorated with teal and turquoise, bright sunshine yellow with a slight taste of sunset red and light sienna brown along the center. No PCGS CAC example has sold, though two NGC CAC sold for $1,620 07/21 HA and $1,800 03/19 ST. A splendid piece that is definitely worthy and PQ for the grade.
