1907-D $20 MS62 OGH PCGS GOLD CAC

1907-D Denver struck Liberty Double Eagle encased in a PCGS OGH 2.2 holder with a Gold CAC sticker. The 1907 D date is not in the “common date” category making this a better date Liberty Double Eagle especially in higher grades. It features impressively satiny and delightful surfaces. The strike and details are apparent. Every detail is well defined with precision. The coloration is a warm straw yellow gold with deep hues that embodies the mint luster. The coin is practically oozing with originality and has a state of preservation not often seen. This coin looks near GEM in hand, and is confirmed with a GOLD CAC sticker on a PCGS OGH. The older holder craze is far from over and we are seeing less and less of these for sale especially with GOLD CAC. Last comparable example was a MS64 PCGS CAC sale for $5,160 05/22 HA.
