1905 25C PR64 PCGS CAC

The 1905 Proof Barber Quarter is a superbly preserved survivor from a tiny mintage of just 727 pieces, with an estimated 650 examples remaining. This PCGS PR64 CAC specimen stands out for its richly toned, vividly original surfaces and strong overall presence. Both obverse and reverse display deeply reflective, glossy proof fields layered beneath complex, naturally developed color, creating a unified and visually striking presentation. With the last CAC-approved example realizing $1,080 04/25 HA for an untoned bland example and a slightly toned 1901 25C PR64 PCGS CAC selling for $1,260 09/25 SB, this should drive considerably more demand. We think proof Barber Quarter especially in 64 CAC and higher are undervalued.
