1896 1C PR64 BN PCGS CAC EEPS

1896 Indian Head Proof Cent has a small mintage of just 1,862 pieces. 1896 1C is a tough date to find with original uncleaned surface. As such very few CAC piece have been certified. At PR64 BN or PR65 BN no comps are seen. A toned non-CAC PR64 BN that pales in comparison sold one for $660 01/22 HA, whilst one in 65 also non-CAC sold for $900 07/23 HA, both with inferior colors to this. Featuring the brightest of purples on the centers of the field and devices surrounded by neon blue with pink highlights, this has one of the nicest royal purple hue we have seen. Exceptionally PQ for the grade, and sure to not disappoint with a CAC and Eagle Eye Photo Seal approval.
