1895 10C MS66+ PCGS CAC EX GARDNER

#3 on the Barber Dimes Census by Jeff Ambio, this 1895 Barber Dime stands as the rarest circulation strike of the series from the Philadelphia Mint, with a remarkably low mintage of fewer than one million coins—the only instance this occurred for the type at this mint. Struck during a period when collector interest heavily favored Proof issues, the majority of these dimes quietly entered circulation and saw extensive wear. As a result, Mint State survivors are exceptionally rare. The specimen offered here, graded PCGS MS66+ and certified by CAC, is among the best and firmly within the Condition Census.
