Vividly Toned 1893 New Orleans Barber Quarter. From a mintage of 3.4 Million pieces, 3,000 exist today with an attrition rate of 0.08%, of which even fewer at CAC approved with only 3 at this grade. With a PCGS Price Guide of $550 and last CAC sale for an original un-toned but with a big spot PCGS CAC at $500 09/22 DL, the present offered example is vastly superior to any other being offered in the MS62 grade. Whilst the grade implies it is lower grade, we are sincerely uncertain why it only received a MS62 and not MS64. Nevertheless, there is little price discrepancy between the grades. With bright eclectic blue around the peripheries to red-ish apricot centers, the coin screams color with one of the most outstanding eye appeals seen. We've seen no other 1893-O 25C with such colors in any other grades.
