This 1893-CC Morgan Silver Dollar, graded MS62 by PCGS and housed in a Generation 3.1 Old Green Holder, represents the final Morgan dollar struck at the Carson City Mint. With a modest mintage of just 677,000 pieces—by far the lowest of any CC Morgan—this issue carries immense collector demand due to its status as the last “CC” dollar, its romantic Western pedigree, and the difficulty of acquiring truly Mint State examples. Despite its popularity, most survivors exhibit noticeable wear or heavy bagmarks; this CAC-approved example rises above, offering vibrant cartwheel luster, outstanding surface preservation, and superior visual quality for the grade. No doubt this looks better than any 62 we have seen or handled and is one of the absolute best at that. With CAC Price Guide at $8,250, and a relevant comparable auction record also for an old holder but rattler that sold for $8,100 08/25 ST.
