The 1893 Columbian half dollar, though struck in larger quantities than the 1892, is rarer in all grades from MS63 to MS67. As the first silver commemorative issued for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, it remains a popular and highly sought-after piece. This coin is incredibly well-preserved, showcasing premium GEM quality with outstanding eye appeal. Its eye appeal and color deserves a strong bids from collectors. The CAC endorsement affirms the coin’s authentic and attractive toning, developed over time on both the obverse and reverse. The obverse shows lime and yellow highlights around the edges that transition into shades of lilac, plum, and violet. On the reverse, cobalt iridescence along the edge fades into a central amethyst hue, creating a striking visual appeal. It is housed in an older PCGS OGH holder. A CAC example sold for $720 12/22 HA.
