Morgan Dollar
1890-CC Morgan Silver Dollar CAC Certified is a scarce Mint State issue when compared to earlier Carson City dollars from the 1880s. With a mintage of 2.3 million, production surged compared to prior years. However, much of the issue entered circulation, and only a limited number survived in higher grades, with the average certified grade being AU53. Very few examples are seen in UNC. the Gem level, making this CAC-certified coin an exceptional quality piece. The CAC approval underscores the coin's superior quality and eye appeal, distinguishing it among survivors from this popular Western mint. This example is well struck with ample luster and minimal marks for the grade. No doubt a better Carson City issue. Its combination of historical significance, rarity, and exceptional quality ensures its value as a numismatic treasure. Last CAC sale for $1,140. CAC and PCGS value also $1,150.
