1889 50C MS64 OH NGC CAC

1889 Liberty Seated Half Dollar is a rare find which for many years has gone under the radar. With a small mintage of just 12,000, survival estimates suggest only around 200 examples remain in all grades. Boasting a bold strike, stunning mint bloom, and ample luster, this piece features a beautiful sheen of green toning in soft gold on the obverse, with salmon pink and sunglow hues. PCGS values this coin at $4,000, and CAC at $3,300 and the last auction for a MS64 CAC was $3,120 04/23 HA, but by no means is that your typical MS64. Housed in an old fatty soap box NGC holder, the fields are absolutely stunning with only one or two minute hits noted, certainly enough to call this a GEM. An absolutely radiant example with the hologram fully intact on the reverse.
