1886 25C PR62 OGH PCGS CAC

Encased in a PCGS Old Green Holder, this proof Liberty Seated Quarter boasts tones of pine green with radiant blue and orange shades. Attractive for the grade with no marks or abrasions worth mentioning that accounts for a 62 grade. Only 2 examples have been approved by CAC with 20 finer. This example sold at HA two years ago with no picture or note of its attractive toning and would have sold for much more in our opinion. With only 5,000 coins minted and 886 known to survive in all grades, this coin in our opinion represents tremendous value for under a $1,000.
