1885-O $1 MS66+ PCGS CAC

This stunning Morgan looks like a Christmas ornament, featuring a smattering of reds, pinks, and greens over the entire obverse. It has bold luster for an O-mint and rich surfaces. The reverse is mostly white, apart from a kiss of toning near the lower rim. These are exactly the colors you want on a centerpiece toner, and the lofty grade and CAC approval make this coin a superb example. Finding green and pink is one of the most sought after combination especially in higher grade and CAC. Two almost identical auction comps are noted. A MS66 NGC STAR non-CAC for $4,680 01/22 HA* and a lower grade MS65+ PCGS CAC for $5,231 08/22 GC. Considering this is MS66 PCGS CAC we can see this at auction in a spirited bidding sell for more.
