Neon Crescent Toned Morgan. This coin looks as if the colors on your screen were turned up to 100, but it really is that bright! An exceptional emerald green predominates the lower half of the coin, transitioning to a neon blue/purple, neon fuchsia, yellow, blue, and peach. Color brightness is extremely desirable when it comes to high-end toned Morgans, but it is not seen this bright very often. The colors are also smooth without any mottling or breaks, which adds to the eye appeal and desirability of such a piece. This example is also a crescent toner, formed by another Morgan sitting over the top half of this coin while the rest was exposed to the canvas material of a bank bag allowing only that area to tone. The luster of this piece further contributes to the eye appeal and "pop" of the colors. Rarely does a toner this bright become available—the opportunity calls!
