1881 25C PR66 PCGS CAC

Over the years we have sourced some incredibly toned proof seated liberty quarters; however this coin is no doubt placed within the top of that category. Aside from being a pr66 pcgs with a high technical grade, void of marks, or hits, this coin is special understandably for its color and toning. The reverse is a cameo. A clear look at the image will indicate this as such. The obverse is not, but is one of the most attractively toned proof seated quarters we have seen. The fields are not a deep blue as one might expect, but a very bright sky blue to neon blue that screams as one twirls and asses its luster. As we approach the devices, the magnificent blue transitions to pink-red as the field and devices interplay. A visually superb coin destined for a collector who appreciates beauty.
