The 1880-CC Liberty Head Eagle is an increasingly challenging Carson City issue to locate with strong originality and attractive eye appeal in Choice XF quality. This CAC-approved XF45 example displays warm, medium-gold surfaces. Struck during a year when Carson City operations resumed late but still produced 11,190 eagles. The 1880-CC is more obtainable in lower grades, yet examples with this level of preservation and CAC endorsement are notably elusive.
