1880 25C MS67 NGC
Liberty Seated Quarter
The 1880’s faced low mintages due to the fact that production was more focused on Morgan Dollar coins rather than quarters or half dollars. Originating from a mintage of just 13,600 this condition census piece is a superb Gem example of the 1880 Liberty Seated Quarters. This astounding specimen is one that surely captures the eyes of any onlooker who cross paths with it. It features incredibly lustrous and attractive toning all around displaying vivid toning on the obverse and a slightly more light toning on the reverse. Boasting prooflike surfaces, the piece showcases peripheral hues of a mixture of basil and olive green which transcends into light gold including cerulean blue along with sandy and amber yellow as it approaches the center of the coin. With a NGC Pop of only 9 and 7 finer, this piece delivers captivating eye appeal even when viewed from any angle or with the aid of lighting. A superb Gem that would bring deep personal satisfaction when added into a very well-made collection. Only recent comp was a blast white NGC MS67 that sold for $5,625 03/25 GC. Considering Greysheet Wholesale Bid is $5,250 and NGC Price Guide is at $6,950, this represents excellent value.
