1880 1C PR64 RB PCGS CAC EEPS

This 1880 Indian Head One Cent Proof Coin has one of the higher mintages of the series at 3,955. But finding an example that has that EEPS (Eagle Eye Photo Seal) & CAC sticker is very hard. Many examples have muted colors over subdued deep brown backgrounds. But this coin eschews that standard with incredibly eye-appealing surfaces. The present example is superb with let us just say CRAZY toning! Both sides are beyond attractive. The obverse shows chartreuse, fuchsia, & lime painted on the red-brown background. The reverse shows a central cobalt blue with outlying hues of yellow, purple, and hot pink. Attractively toned Indian Head Cent Proof coins are highly sought after. We sold a similar nice 1908 1C PR64 RB PCGS EEPS. These do not last long once they are on the market.
