This 1879 Trade Dollar graded PR60 by PCGS with CAC approval is encased in a sought-after old green holder. Boasting an incredibly low mintage of just 1,541, this spectacular Trade Dollar displays a beautiful blend of aspen gold and dominant gray toning on the obverse with bright blue on the reverse. A rare survivor from a Proof-only issue series that began in 1879 and continued until the series' end in 1883. This coin has a PCGS Price Guide value of $2,750 and CAC Price Guide value of $2,700, and very few auction sales are noted. This coin provides under $3,000 represents excellent value given the toning, CAC and OGH.
