1878 25C PR63 PCGS CAC

Mintage 800 and incredibly affordable, 1878 Liberty Seated Quarter in all grades are mostly seen in PR62-PR64 and can be acquired readily as most were saved. Despite this, these are tough to locate with color and CAC approval. The current example is a CAC POP 5 with 14 in all grades finer. The last CAC sale was for $1,146 08/14 IR with the last NON-CAC at $1,000 01/23 DL. Both instances, neither have any toning. In fact looking at other comps, we only see attractively toned examples in Superb Gem 66 or finer. Safe to say, this example with pastel undertones over blue highlights delivers tremendous value and rarity for under $1,500.
