1876 50C MS65 PCGS CAC

Newly graded, this fresh 1876 Liberty Seated Half Dollar is an extremely popular dates in the series not only because the date affords a selection to all collectors of varying budget be it $75 in the lowest condition to an MS67 in low 5 figures range. This gem example certified MS-65 with CAC approval is more than a normal 1876 50C it is slightly more special because it is fully struck and it has tremendous color and eye appeal. A few not as attractively toned GEMs have sold around the $3,800 mark ( 06/16 HA , 08/13 SB) The most recent PCGS MS65 sale was for a NON-CAC 10/2021 LE for $3,055. This lustrous example is enveloped with likely an envelope toning that perfectly preserved the coin in its condition with a mixture of colors. One will be hard-pressed to find as a good a value for a gem half dollar with toning from the 1870'S. A superb example that will not disappoint.
