1876 10C MS66 PCGS CAC

Popular Philadelphia mint Dime, approximately 11 million 1876 10c were minted. Despite the large number only 3,000 are estimated today. At MS66 PCGS CAC, the most recent sale was 02/23 HA for $2,160 and a year earlier $1,351. Both those examples were original examples, but the present piece has attractive hues that contribute substantially to its eye appeal. Whilst the obverse has a myriad of colors including pink, blue, yellow and green, the reverse is near terminally toned except towards some part of the bottom half, which adds great character to this popular and affordable example. Interestingly, only 1 CAC example has been certified at MS67.
