1876 $10 VF25 PCGS CAC

Second lowest mintage of any Liberty Head Eagle! That speaks volumes to the 1876 $10 rarity. With a mintage of only 687 of which 42 are only known in all grades. Of the 42, 7 are CAC of which we believe 2 are duplicates. Nonetheless, this second lowest mintage 1876 $10 is the lowest and only graded example in the entire pcgs and ngc population. This charismatic example is superb in all regards. Not only was this likely a pocket piece, is pop 1 either at pcgs, ngc and cac, a rare date, it is also superbly toned with a vivid reddish toning on both sides.
