1875-CC T$1 MS63 PCGS CAC

A highly desirable Carson City Mint Trade Dollar, this 1875-CC T$1 graded MS63 by PCGS and approved by CAC represents one of the more challenging issues in the series to locate with true Mint State preservation and premium eye appeal. Both sides display attractive satiny mint luster with bright silver surfaces that radiate originality and strong cartwheel reflectivity under light. Sharply struck, the coin's eye appeal is phenomenal and allows the coin’s impressive overall presentation to stand out. Unlike many surviving examples that entered circulation in the Orient and later returned with heavy wear or chopmarks, this piece survives in an exceptionally well-preserved state, free from the distractions commonly encountered on the issue. Only a total estimate of 1,200 pieces are estimated in all grades. Considering this is just a MS63 with only 6 CAC approved and 5 finer implies truly how rare this coin is. The last sale was for $7,200 11/24 SB for a NGC MS63 CAC, but this coin is clearly more choice and attractive than the aforementioned example.
