1875-CC 10C MM ABOVE BOW MS65 PCGS CAC

All Carson City issue coinage receive huge fanfare. 1875-CC Seated Dime is no exception and deservedly so. The present example which comes in two types Mintmark Above Bow or Mintmark Below Bow, is an excellent value purchase for Carson City Dimes. Rare in GEM or finer yet priced at a reasonable price jump from 64 to 65, this coin has interesting patination of bright neon blue mixed with a beautiful FS-104(Outie) variety. With original skin and luster burst all in a small coin it is not easy to fall in love with this piece. Last PCGS CAC sale was for $7,200, Bender Family Collection 08/22 HA with other comps at $3,408 and $4,800. A MS66+ PCGS CAC a horrible example with a major hit to the face some how was graded and thus sold cheaply for $7,200, that should have more likely been graded MS64+. This coin has a PCGS Price Guide of $4,000 and with the recent Bender sale the price should increase.
