1875-CC $10 VF35 PCGS CAC
Liberty Head Eagle
Key 1875-CC $10. CAC approved Carson City Eagle for the past decade have been highly sought after. In part due to CC $10 being highly processed but also because most of the CC $10 failed to have been kept in original conditions thanks to the low number of survivors, CAC CC Gold have a two-tier market.
1875-CC $10 from a small mintage of just 7715 pieces, 120 remain today. At VF35 in the past 17 years, there has only been 1 sale a NON-CAC at $8,400. There are only 12 CAC approved coins in all grades, and the most relevant CAC comp is a XF45 PCGS CAC for $33,600 08/22 ST, when NON-CAC sell at $18,600. Next grade higher AU50 CAC and AU53 CAC sold also this year at $39,600 and $43,200. All three superb CAC coins thanks to the Fairmont Collection, but none at a more affordable price point, as at each grade there is typically 1 CAC approved coin per grade. Honey-tan gold surface over salmon pink between devices illuminate this superbly original eagle. Superb example with an XF reverse, and the most affordable CAC 1875-CC $10 key date you can acquire.
