1873 50C ARROWS AU50 PCGS
Liberty Seated Half Dollar
Minted during a brief two-year period to reflect the increase in silver content mandated by the Act of 1873, the 1873 50C Arrows Liberty Seated Half Dollar from an original mintage of 1,815,150, only approximately 2,500 coins are estimated to have survived across all grades. The coin features a shimmering luster that enhances its soft hues of castleton green and blue shades. Its pearly silver surface, complemented by subtle tones of rainbow hues adds character and eye appeal. Reverse looks like an AU58 with ample luster, we feel the coin likely was net graded as it has details of an AU55 coin. A very similar comparable for a AU50 PCGS sold for $750 04/23 HA.
