1870 2C PR66 RB PCGS CAC

Mintage 1000 with only 2 finer than the base PR66 grade, Proof Two Cents have recently started seeing increased demand for attractively toned high grade examples especially in BN and RB. The present is indeed that with a two-toned patina of red and purple on the obverse whilst on the reverse blue and red. An example where a PCGS True View is deeply needed to showcase the absolute stunning colors. Last 3 PCGS CAC comps all sold around $2,600 and a clear price indication has been built; however, this example posses much higher eye appeal and colors than any other examples that have sold, and will be appreciated by any astute collector.
