1869/'8' 3CS PR67 PCGS CAC

Mintage 600, one of the finest Proof 1869 trime with attractive sea-green and salmon pink toning, this Superb premium gem is bested by a single finer example. 1869 3CS PR is an important date with remnants of over-date clearly visible. One grade lower a PR66 PCGS CAC sold for $9,694 07/22 LE ( PCGS#3720). Note PCGS now identifies both #3720 previously labelled as 1869/'8' PR and # 3719 previously labelled as 1869 PR under #3719. In PR67 PCGS CAC either in #3720 or #3719 sales there is little difference in value and have ranged between $9,000-$13,000, where as in lower grade there have been significant price differences. This is the example to acquire and will fit perfectly in a top Registry set.
